Bengaluru based popped potato chips brand TagZ Foods is the traditional snacking in the country, This chips brand claims to be the first brand in India to manufacture popped potato chips — which are neither fried, nor baked — and have 50 percent less fat.
The Startup was founded by Mr. Anish Basu Roy and Mr. Sagar Bhalotia in 2019. TagZ Foods sells their products on E-commerce platform like Amazon, Big Basket, Grofers and various local eCommerce sites. The brand is also available in retail stores in Bengaluru and other cities.
TagZ Foods announced that it has raised $500,000 in pre-series A round of funding led by Venture Catalysts. The Startup will use this fund to improve its distribution and production capacity in various cities in the country.
Mr. Dharamveer Chauhan, Dhruv Toshniwal, Loy Halder, Shesh Kondi, Umang Bedi, Malhar Anaokar have also invested in TagZ Foods.
